Cherry Bakewell porridge

All to be sourced organic where possible

  • 100g (1 cup) rolled oats
  • 250ml (1 cup) unsweetened almond milk (such as Plenish almond milk)
  • 4 fresh cherries, stoned
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp ground almonds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • A small handful of chopped almonds
  • Fresh cherries, stoned and halved

1. Put the oats, almond milk and 250ml (1 cup) water into a small saucepan and set over a medium heat.

2. Roughly chop the cherries and stir into the saucepan with the almond butter, ground almonds, vanilla extract and maple syrup. Cook for 5-6 minutes, or until thick and creamy, stirring regularly.
